I am still offering Face to Face therapy as an essential specialist service to maintain the UK's Health and Well-Being. Furniture is disinfected between clients, I have hand sanitizer available upon entry, the wearing of masks is no longer mandatory in my practice however I will supply them free of charge on request if you prefer to wear one. I aim to continue to use a clear a sneeze screen for your protection. There will also still be more time between clients so I can sanitize the room and ventilate the room, there will be fewer clients per day using the room. There is a separate entrance for clients, I am fully vaccinated as of 28th May 2021 . I will not be offering refreshments so as to minimise contact so please bring your own and toilet facilities will not be available at this time.
Welcome to CBT Clinics North West Ltd, I have been established in Private Practice ( Formerly Positive Beginnings) since 2006 providing integrative counselling, Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and workplace workshops. I have also worked in High Schools since 2011 to the current time. In recent years however more clients and companies have requested CBT hence me taking CBT into a new business integrating my previous practice to provide a more specialised area of expertise, both individually and corporate provisions. I work from a designated purpose built area of my home adding a personal touch and home comforts with ample parking facilities at the side. I am within 5 minutes walk from the nearest bus stop and 10 minutes brisk walk from the nearest train station, 5 minutes in a Taxi.
To share and put perspective on life and have someone listen in a non-judgmental and empathic way is a gift within your reach, the solutions to your growth and healing are within you, they are perhaps hidden in unknown territory or restrained by fear and pain? I shall support you in finding the answers within you. No problem is too big or small for counselling, what is important is how your life is being affected by what is going on for you at this time. Seeking help is a strength not a weakness and once you have taken the first step you will continue to grow and heal.
I also work under the code of ethics of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and BABCP (British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies) and registered with the ICO (independent Commissioners Office). I am also an Accredited therapist with the BACP.

I see CBT as a teaching method of therapy, it focuses on changing how we think (Cognitive) and what you then do as a result of your thoughts (Behaviour).
A combination of Hypnosis and talking therapies unlike Hypnotists who don’t deal with the emotional issues presented before and often as a result of hypnosis.
Counselling is a ‘talking therapy’ and provides a safe and non-judgemental environment to discuss and explore their feelings and problems.
